Okay~! Here is it!

This is Mr. JACK (aka. Lao J)!

Firstly! Thank you for the very nice card! (There is no Jill la… XD)

I don’t know if you girls are still feeling low and down because of the results… but… let me repeat myself for those who did not hear me the last time… I was IMPRESSED by you girls!... your marching… your drills… I believe that all of you did your best...

Since the event has already passed… all that is left should not be sadness, regrets or even self denial… but should be the beautiful memories that you girls get from the 5 months of practices together… the wonderful experience I believe. (so much so that this man here wants to join GB for this simple fact… LOL) I believe that you girls have even deepen your friendship with one another… especially during times of troubles/emergency… where you see how everyone helped and support each other…

I really want to thank you girls for giving me this awesome chance to teach and help you girls in this fancy drill and it really leaves me with lots of memories (including bubble tea?)…. And special experiences with every single one of you (stated below):

Commander Fiona Woo: Ms Creative… (JACK clap that made me really famous…)
Chang Yen: Ms Good Memory? (stop emphasizing the strip it la... I will never again say that word)
Charmaine: Ms Lost Count…? (Need to buck up on your math! Practice counting more!)
Cleo: Ms Timer? (One of the full time timer… count and count… teach charmaine abit la… )
Esther: Ms panda eye or smudge mascara? (Sleep earlier la)
Reena: Little Ms kangaroo? (Don’t hop so much hor…)
Jenise: Ms Attitude? (The famous “attitude” pandang ke-hadapan…)
Jie Qi: Ms Speechless? (seriously… I haven’t hear you speak a single word yet… )
Jolyn: Lost in the Jungle? Loves standing with one leg…
Joyce: Ms Hyper Ventilate? Eat your lunch and relax… if not liying gonna scold! XD
Josephine: Ms Laughter (The continuous laughing machine)
Liying: Ms Considerate? (thanks for being considerate and telling me secretly)
Mabel: Ms Kang tang (pls improve your Chinese… LOL)
Ruth: Ms *roll eyes*…. (“It’s like so that lohz…”)
Sheryl: Ms Sprinter and fierce when comes to emergency… (*shiver*…)
Si Wei: Ms boy boy? (that guy in a girl’s body? )
Veronica: Ms Messy Hair? (Pin up your hair la)
Xin Ping: Ms Policewoman ?… (*Grin* “You Are Under Arrest!”)
Xue Ting: Ms Quiet… or shy? (quiet… really quiet)

And to the other officers … thanks for inviting me to help out with the fancy drill… its an honor…^^… I appreciate it… Totally…

The Girls' Brigade as it is known today, is the union of three Christian organisations for girls:
- all sister organisations of the the Boy's Brigade
- The Girls' Brigade, The Girls' Guildry and The Girls' Life Brigade
All three organisations provided training to develop mind, body and spirit and to inculcate a sense of responsibility through useful Christian service.

Each symbol of The Girls' Brigade adds to its total meaning of LOVE -

The LAMP is likened to our lives - empty, it is useless; filled but left until it simply an ornament. It must be set alight. We have the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives, but as with the oil, the spark of God's love is needed to set us alight.
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." - Psalm 119:105

The FLAME OF LOVE will then shine out from the Lamp - God's love shines through us to others.
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." - Matthew 5:16

The CROSS is at the centre. The Lamp is at the foot of the Cross where we begin to live as Christians. Looking up at the Cross we are reminded that God's love for us is so great that He gave His Son to die for us.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." - John 3:16

The RED BACKGROUND helps us to remember that Jesus' blood was shed that we might be cleansed from our sins.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2:8-10

The CIRCLE signifies God's encircling love. To remain in that Circle we must forgive and accept others. To keep that Circle complete we each have a place in it, being loyal to God, to His Church, and to one another.
"For as the body is one and has many members but all the members of that body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ." - 1 Corinthians 12:12

The TORCH OF ENDEAVOUR at the top of the badge becomes a reality if Flames of Love burn brightly in the lives of all Brigaders.
"... with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bong of peace." - Ephesians 4:2-3

The CROWN which supports the Torch reminds us whom we serve - no one less than the King of Kings who promises a Crown of Life to those who are faithful to Him
"... Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life." - Revelations 2:10
